Recreate Default Device Driver Customizations

It is possible to customize device drivers in PME, for example by adding software logging. This is typically done through the Modbus Device Type Editor (MDI). The customizations are stored in the .ion and .xml translator files under ...\config\translators.

Configuration Manager does not install these customized files on the target system. The files are copied to ...\Power Monitoring Expert\CM Migration Files.

The reason for not installing them automatically is that there could have been changes and bug fixes to the driver files in the new PME system which should not get overwritten.

After Write to System is complete, check (in the MDI) the files copied to the CM Migration Files folder to see if they have been customized or check the source system. Manually recreate any desired customizations on the target system.
